Louie and his crew were excellent. They replaced my chimney liner in a minimal amount of time which was important to me since I work from home. Their work was high quality and they did an excellent job of cleaning up. All in all, no complaints whatsoever – just praise.

I’ve been using Crown Chimney since I bought my house in 2013, first for installation of a wood stove insert and new flues, and now for annual inspections. I’ve always been impressed with the excellent customer service provided by Jesse and his team. In a time when there is a lot of turnover in the workforce, it is nice to see a familiar face each year in longtime technician, Tom.

After having a wood chimney fire, I decided to try gas instead. I did some research with other company’s but they did not compare to Crown Chimney. After picking out the fireplace and mantel, with Saxton’s approval. The date was set. Had a wonderful time with Deb picking out the granite sides (seriously). Crown coordinated with their gas company to come out on day 2 of this project. I was predicting a mess so I covered everything. The day has now arrived. Dan, John and Josh arrived and set up the scaffolding on my deck and then started the work inside. They explained everything to me and went above and beyond to be neat with out any dust or debris in my home. The chimney work involved new pipes and a chimney cover, which again was done to perfection. These guys worked hard and did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

To say that I’m happy with the work that was done is an understatement. Saxton and the crew that came out not only fixed the chimney issue we were having, but pointed out that a previous company installed the wrong hot water heater which caused our carbon monoxide alarm to go off. Saxton brought it to my attention and was honest and as professional as can be. The level of professionalism from Saxton and the guys was amazing. Once it became clear that we needed a chimney flue replacement, we contacted Crown based on their New Hampshire location and the many fine reviews. They came out quickly, conducted a thorough inspection and provided a detailed estimate. The actual work was an all-day process but the guys were professional and their clean-up was top-notch. Several months later they returned when weather permitted to finished up some masonry work. So we had them out a total of 3 times. Throughout the process, the office was very good about keeping us posted as to any schedule changes and the guys called us each time when they were 10 or 15 minutes out. All in all we were quite impressed with their work and their professionalism. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to others.

I have been working on updating my heating for my house this spring/summer and needed a liner for my chimney. Crown Chimney was so friendly and helpful when I called and where very accommodating with my schedule. We had to wait a long time for our new Pellet stove Mostly due to the Manufacture When it did come in they were Right on it They cleaned out our old Wood-burner and Chimney ?. Prompt service to do a sealant job on chimney flashing looks very professional.

My old, 90s-era propane fireplace needed replacing. Saxton came to do the initial estimate, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. When they came back to replace the unit, Santon and his crew were nothing short of amazing. This job was not an easy one, as the entire venting system also needed overhauling, and to top it off, there was a large nest of wasps on top of the old unit (explains why I was getting wasps inside the house every spring). The chimney cap also needed to be replaced, the old mantel was too small and had to be replaced to accommodate the surround-stone now required by code, on and on. The guys were extremely polite, efficient, and a pleasure to have in my home. I now have a magnificent new unit and mantel in the room and the difference is astounding. Before hiring them, I was told by several people that Crown was the best in the state; they were right, hands down. My great thanks to everyone on the team that day. I could not be happier with the gorgeous, new installation.

Tom and his team arrived on-time to evaluate both the boiler chimney and the (non-working) fireplace chimney of our new home. We knew the fireplace was not likely to be usable, and Tom was able to show me the several reasons why that was the case. We received their quote quickly regarding the necessary boiler liner.

The company kept me abreast of cancellations in their schedule and were able to get workers out to us much sooner than originally hoped.

Louis and Ivan arrived on-time and installed a liner in our boiler chimney. They were kind, professional, efficient with their time (and mine), easily trouble-shot a few challenges with an angle in our chimney, and cleaned up well after all the work was done. We are really pleased — thank you!

The team arrived on Monday 9/19 to open up a new breech and close the old one. This included Louie and his supervisor also came out to give them a hand since it was a difficult job. They (all of them) did a great job.

Every time that we have had Crown Chimney do their yearly inspection of our chimney, we have been very satisfied. This last time was for repointing and the work was completed in a timely and satisfactory manner. All debris was picked up and the area left clean.

After Crown Chimney did a wonderful job this past spring making repairs and sealing our fireplace chimney, we were delighted to engage them again recently, for an operational inspection of our fireplace and flue. The team at Crown was great throughout the entire installation. It’s rare nowadays that your get a call back, let alone the level of customer service that we received. Crown very clearly explained our options, provided very specific details for how and where the gas piping and electrical outlet needed to be placed, and were prompt.

Everyone I dealt with at Crown has been very professional as well as very accommodating. They office staff is very friendly and Saxton showed up right on time and was very thorough with his initial inspection and his explanation to me of the issues at hand. Because of the backlog, the work at my house was not scheduled to be done for 7 months after the inspection and estimate. However, they had me on a cancellation list in the hope of moving up that time frame. They did not forget about me and the work was done almost 3 months earlier than expected. Dan and his crew showed up right on time as well and the work and cleanup was top-notch. I would use Crown again and/or recommend them to others without hesitation.

Crown chimney did an outstandingly excellent job of rectifying a poor gas fireplace installation, relining the boiler flue and rebuilding the crown to turn a drafty, leaky, old five fireplace chimney into dry warm efficient heating system. They were very professional giving a detailed explanation of the work that needed to be done and why, calling every day to let us know when they would show up, everyone was very neat and considerate while working inside the home and completed the job efficiently and ahead of schedule. We would wholeheartedly recommend this company and will have them back if we decide to get any of the other fireplaces working

Tom and his partner, (I apologize for not remembering his name) arrived at the exact scheduled time. They had cleaning materials in hand. They inspected the boiler flu pipe from both the basement at the boiler and then went to the roof. They told me “it looked great and did not need to be cleaned”. They could have told me it was a mess and needed cleaning. I would not have known the difference. My point is that Crown Chimney and its’ Techs have always been 100% honest. I would think most homeowners don’t know how their chimneys work and how they should look so, it would be easy to take advantage of the homeowner. I have never felt that was going to happen to me. Also, I had a couple of technical questions and Tom provided knowledgeable and educated answers. I had a minor problem with my chimney cap and they fixed it. I also hired Crown to install my boiler flu pipe 3 years ago.

I can’t say enough about how impressed I am with Crown Chimney. They were able to work magic and get techs to our home months ahead of what we had expected on two separate occasions. Saxton arrived for our inspection at the exact minute we were told he would arrive. He was extremely thorough, kind, and answered our many questions about the status of our chimney. He was also extremely quick to respond via email as we were deciding what our next steps would be. Deb and Stephanie in the office were phenomenal. Both were exceptionally kind and accommodating. We had two techs come and re-line a boiler liner and install a chimney cap. They were prompt, professional, and didn’t leave a spec of dust behind! Could not recommend this company more. After a scary carbon monoxide issue, I called Crown Chimney after receiving their information from a family friend who is a long time customer. I talked to Deb, who was beyond amazing. She told me they were booking out quite far, but because my issue was pretty urgent she would do what she could to get me in ASAP. She stayed in contact with me throughout the day, and was able to secure a time slot for me the following afternoon. Her customer service was above and beyond.

At the time of my appointment Saxton was right on time. He was so nice and helpful and was able to take care of everything in a very timely manner.

Saxton and his team were great! Our fireplace is beautiful; a really good quality product and insert. Some measurements were off at the beginning the project, which took some recourse but they were flexible, communicative and adjusted accordingly. They went above and beyond afterwards to replace our siding that wasn’t initially accounted for. They also came back to inspect a question that I had about the fireplace to make sure things were ok. Very professional service overall and happy about the yearly maintenance, too!

We were impressed from our first contact with Stephanie to the finished work by Louie and Ivan. The staff understood the urgency of our chimney needs and Tom promptly estimated the work and helped us to understand the project and materials that would be used. Deb worked hard to get our chimney servicing in the schedule and we now know why she has the title ‘Customer Success Manager”. The team members that came to our home were professional in demeanor and dress and the finish work in the basement impressed us. We had them come out and replace our chimney from roof up and couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out. They replaced the dampers to make them more energy efficient and put a new crown on top to go over the brick to help extend its estimated useful life. We were so impressed that we had them come back a year later and build a structural wall in our basement as we had a bowing brick wall down there. They show up on time, work super efficiently and know what they’re doing. They bring a little microwave with them to heat up their lunches outside as to not have to leave for a while to find lunch. Super respectful crews and very easy to work with. You can have full confidence that they will exceed your expectations so you don’t need to watch them like a hawk like some other kinds of contractors.

I worked in the food service industry (which included over 1500 weddings and receptions) for 44 years, as a business owner and general manager, and know how important customer service is as well as the final product you sell. The staff on the ground ( both teams ) did a wonderful job and the office staff ( Deb and Stephanie ) were always quick to respond to all of my questions, with a smile in the tone of their email. It is refreshing to know that the entire company has your satisfaction as their priority (including Jesse the owner). Easily deserve 5 stars.

Your crew, arrived right on time, it was cold and raining, not a good day to be outside, but unfazed they were on the roof, in the basement, back on the roof, very coordinated, very professional, next thing I know furnace is connected to new liner and running. So happy to have a wood stove as a back up again. Was super particular about the firewall we wanted, Crown sent us to the right place for the stone veneer and installed just like we wanted for a “Montana” look. Would highly recommend them. This is the second installation they did for us (we moved) and the price was less than what I expected.

Sax, Dan, Louie, Ivan and Matty arrived on time and fully equipped to remove my fireplace and old chimney and replace with a new chimney, propane insert, new mantel and marble surround. I had an arrival time of 9:30-10am and Saxton and his crew arrived right at 9:30am, and they called when they were on their way. I left shortly after their arrival to go to the grocery store and when I came back with a trunk full of food, Saxton immediately offered to help me bring them upstairs to my kitchen—WOW!! They finished the job ahead of schedule and you would have never known that any work was done; Saxton thoroughly vacuumed any mess that was made.
